James is a composer, jazz keyboardist, pianist, arranger, and engineer/producer. Although a part of many other albums as composer, producer, keyboardist, "God is Cool" is James Ranka's debut album. The genre is smooth jazz instrumental and is similar in sound to groups such as Spyro Gyra, The Yellow Jackets, Grover Washington...many others.

Instrumentation includes piano, keyboard textures, saxophone, authentic percussion, electric guitar, strings and wind instruments performed by James and guest artists David Chionsini, Tony DuPuis, Terry Domingue, Danny Pemberton and others.

BERKSHIRE RECORDER CONSORT

Based in SE England, the BRC was formed early in 1979. Their repertoire ranges from Early Music to contemporary composers encompassing a wide range of musical styles.

The members are local amateur musicians who aim to perform to a high standard whilst enjoying a friendly, social group.

Seven different recorders are currently used. The smallest is the tiny Garklein; descending in pitch and growing in size are the Sopranino, Descant, Treble, Tenor, Bass and Great Bass. In addition to recorders, the group features a variety of contemporary and period instruments in their interpretation of early music. Voice, percussion, traditional folk instruments and improvisation all combine to give the BRC a unique style.

In The Netherlands and Belgium, Personal Composer is distributed by Uitgeverij Educatieve Media, Houten, The Netherlands. Personal Composer version 2.0 was entirely translated into Dutch by Anton van Woerkom in 2002, when version 2.0 NL was published.

After finishing the translation of the program Anton started translating the manual, of which half is ready now and available for the Dutch users via the website mentioned above.
